About Me

My photo
Cathy Charleston
I am a teacher librarian for grades K-12 at the Rockwell City/Lytton school district. I have been in this position for nearly thirty years. I am the mother of four children and grandmother to four. My daughters include Cari (Dave), Rachel (Craig), and Stacy (Curt). I also have a son, Brian, who is a senior at the University of Northern Iowa. Dane (age 7) and Brett (age 5) belong to Stacy and Curt and Reagan (age 6) and Drew (age 2) belong to Rachel and Craig. They are, of course, the smartest, cutest, and most talented children on God's green earth. When I have free time I enjoy scrapbooking, working on the computer, gardening, and I even find a little time for golf in the summer. I find myself very busy at school with additional committee responsibilities. I am presently taking a class on Information Literacy for the 21st Century and plan to implement it next fall in grades K-6. Today I am embarking on a new adventure. I agreed to teach a class at the public library on beginning computer skills. The class is full and it starts today. I am anxious to see how it goes.
